American Classic 420 Wheelset

FRONT WHEEL:
The 420 deep section rim is built onto the Micro 58 road hub. This minimalistic front hub is light and aerodynamic.
The shell is forged in one piece and has the bearing placed as close as possible to the point of loading at the fork ends.
With flanges nearly 4mm thick, it can withstand the stresses of radial spoking, yet weighs in at a mere 58 grams.
he front wheel is built with 24 spokes in a radial pattern, using custom ultra butted, flattened aero spokes (similar to, but
lighter than, Sapim CX-Ray) and aluminium nipples.
REAR WHEEL:
The rear wheel uses the RD 205 hub. This incredibly light, 205 gram hub features six oversized pawls which engage in
unison when drive torque is applied, providing a strong and reliable action. Available to suit Campagnolo or Shimano
cassettes.
The 420 rim is laced to the hub two cross with 24 custom ultra butted, flattened aero spokes and aluminium nipples.
Included with the wheelset:
American Classic Cro-moly quick release skewers: These feature stainless steel springs, and a long throw cam which
simplifies wheel removal.
WEIGHTS: Front = 47g, Rear = 51g
SPECIFICATIONS:
For a standard build, wheel weights are: 626g front, 784g rear. Pair = 1410g.
Suggested rider weight limit: 200lbs (91kg)
Rim depth is 34mm.
Options: Campagnolo/Shimano freehub body.
